Anhembi Sambadrome: Where the samba schools of São Paulo present their carnaval
Previously published in adayinbrazil.com there is technical rehearsals of the samba schools of Rio de Janeiro, but if you are going to be in São Paulo on the dates previous to the carnival, you might attend one of the numerous rehearsals of the samba schools in the city of São Paulo all together at the same place.
Good to know that the tests are a kind of celebration. No costumes, no giant floats with its special effects. The rehearsals are not the show, but the dance, singing the samba school samba, drinking caipirinha (do you know how to prepare?) and beer with friends and celebrate the Brazilian culture in loco.

For who wants to secure tickets for the 2012 Carnival in Sao Paulo, there are available seven ticket points throughout the city, and still have the facility to buy the tickets at the site Ingresso Fácil. The parades take place on 17 and 18 February, in the Sambódromo (Sambadrome) – north zone.
